Altaffer Outfitters has been operating for 10 years, started by Lawrence Altaffer. We’ve had the pleasure of guiding many experienced to first-time hunters, the majority of which have gotten to take home a large Virginia eastern wild turkey. The land we have access to is considered to be some of the best turkey hunting in the state and has been hunted by our family for generations. We only allow a select number of additional hunters each year to ensure the best possible experience for every hunter.

Hunters will be treated to one of several properties depending on the type of terrain they’d like to experience. We have access to great land nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and down in the Tidewater country of Virginia. It has been over a decade since a jake was shot on either property, helping us keep a large, healthy, and mature turkey population. Please contact us with any additional questions.
